Griffin Legacy Award granted to Nancy A Scherl (Lisa Volpe)→

What an honor to have been included in the 29th Juried Members Show at the Griffin Museum of Photography, ‘Under the Mask.’ The show was juried by Lisa Volpe, Assistant Curator of Photography at the Houston Fine Art Museum. A special overall thank you to Crista Dix, Executive Director at the Griffin Museum of Photography. I am so honored to have also been awarded the Arthur Griffin Legacy Award.

‘Serving Lobsters’ had become one of the memorable dining experiences at our place. Preparing nice menus and setting the table had become a gift that Rich and I gave to each other. During the summer, we wanted to escape the city and go to the beach but the unmasked beach crowds had concerned us. Our compromise was to find a quiet place, away from the crowds and then to dine at home, together.
