Alternative Processes Exhibition at Soho Photo Gallery (Elizabeth Avedon)→

The 2023 Alternative Processes Exhibition, (Curated by Elizabeth Avedon) at the Soho Photo Gallery was so beautiful. What a pleasure it was to recognize the works of so many wonderful artists and friends. In addition, I was honored to have been awarded an Honorable Mention for my polaroid transfer made in 1988. The transfer was of one of my Dining Alone In the Company of Solitude images and was made in 1988. At that time, I loved to make emulsion lifts from polaroids but I also used a Daylab to transfer film to a polaroid and then transfer the polaroid to watercolor paper. What a treat it was for me to be included in this show. Thank you Elizabeth Avedon for your keen eye, honoring my work, selecting so many stellar artists’ alternative process work. Thank you to Myra Hafetz for all of your support with this exhibition.
